This wiki site organizes all information related to a complete rewrite of imgSeek that is currently under planning. The focus for the rewrite is providing an open platform for advanced media collection management. Please refer to Technology for more details.

imgSeek is originally a photo collection manager and viewer with content-based search and many other features. The query is expressed either as a rough sketch painted by the user or as another image you supply (or an image in your collection). The searching algorithm makes use of multiresolution wavelet decomposition of the query and database images.

Most pages on this site a editable so feel free to participate on this planning process by sharing ideas, and experiences on how an image management application should be like.
